With summer officially in full swing that could only mean one thing- graduations (and grad parties)! And like me, I know that there are many college students who have high school friends graduating. So I'll be sharing some grad gift ideas in this new mini-series. I hope that these posts will inspire you to create something personal and unique that you're graduating friend will appreciate (while making sure that you don't spend a pretty penny). Let's get started!

This Friday, I thought it would be a good idea to make some Father's Day cards with the girls that I babysit. This was such a fun, simple project that didn't break bank. And because I had a bunch of scrapbooking materials that I've acquired over the years, it was basically free! I'm really happy with what I came up with considering most of my scrapbooking paper is (unsurprisingly) very girly so I just had to share. And of course, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to make a pun! Almost two months ago, I was invited by one of my friends to his fraternity formal. I had been invited to another one a month prior but was asked pretty late so I didn't get the chance to paint a cooler (I painted him a flask instead which I've included at the bottom of this post). Anyway, this was my first time ever painting a cooler so I was kinda nervous, but with some help from the The Cooler Connection, I think it turned out pretty well! See how I did it below! |
