As a former engineering student, I found my purpose in solving problems and serving others. What started as a middle school hobby and a fun way to complete school projects, design quickly became my medium of choice for storytelling and self-expression. Today, I leverage my marketing education and years of design experience to help brands and businesses with content creation, community engagement, and so much more. |

STARTED FROM THE BOTTOM,In 2009, I spent my days after (middle) school learning how to use photo and video editing software to contribute my own fan videos and edits for Twilight and The Hunger Games. As the two franchises became major blockbusters and household names, my love for the entertainment industry combined with my passion for learning all things tech led me to explore web design (and soon enough, I created and single-handedly managed a fansite that made it onto Lionsgate's PR list).
For the five years that followed, I continued to create gifs and graphics in my spare time, but new creative projects steadily became few and far between as I pursued other activities and subjects in high school. In the summer of 2015, I set off for Atlanta, GA to study Biomedical Engineering at Georgia Tech. While I was there, though I've always loved math and science, I found myself gravitating towards marketing and management positions. By late 2016, it was clear that my heart and head was set on something else. For the sake of my mental health and physical safety, I made the difficult decision to leave school. After a time of self-discovery, I realized that I could use my creative skills to help people all over the world and started a freelance consulting business in September 2017. |
NOW WE HERE.For the year that followed, I was challenged intellectually, creatively, and emotionally as I ventured into entrepreneurship while I went back to school. On top of a full class load at my local community college, I worked as a nanny and tutor while supporting other location-independent founders and teams residing all over the world.
In January 2019, after receiving my A.S. in Business Administration, I decided to explore additional ventures and made it a goal to blog more regularly in order to document my entrepreneurial journey while I completed my Bachelor's degree at Rutgers Business School. Over a decade since my digital journey began, I continue to share my thoughts and creations on the internet. Now with my own platform, I can be as authentic and unfiltered as company will allow. I hope that you join me as I explore my 20s and will find the memes, pop culture references, and whatever happens to inspire me at the time as exciting as I do. My goal in sharing my story and starting Chat. Connect. Create. is to encourage others to pursue their passions despite what obstacles may stand in their way. Now, go forth and do more of what sets your soul on fire, friend! |
