Just days before my 21st birthday, I am embracing a new year and a new me.
It’s been a long time coming but I can finally share that I am transferring to Rutgers University next Fall! I will be pursuing a degree in Public Health at the Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy.
This was not an easy decision to make and I will miss Georgia Tech dearly. I’ve made some lifelong friends and have grown tremendously as a person, leader, and entrepreneur in my two years there.
I know that it’s the end of the semester for a lot of people and many are studying for exams right now so I thought I’d share something about anxiety, specifically test anxiety.
Exactly a year ago, all I wanted was to give up and not study. I really didn’t want to take my finals thinking that I was gonna fail them anyway. In fact, all I wanted was to fly home and just take an Incomplete for the semester.
And I totally would have, if it weren't for the support of my mom and my closest friends in Alpha Gam and at Georgia Tech.
....with paddles and more 💕
TO MY GRAND LITTLE,
Welcome to the family! I'M SO GLAD TO BE YOUR gBIG AND I LOVE YOU ALREADY!
Being 2500 miles away didn't stop me from giving my gLittle Lia a "Welcome to the Fam" package.

What's crafting without a little bit of canvas pun? I mean, fun.
From Big/Little to Grad Gifts, I sure did a lot of crafting last summer. I'm not kidding when I say I went to Michael's every week. I wish I was, but no- my bank account says otherwise.
Anyway, here's two of the pun-tastic canvases (one's actually a clipboard) that I painted.
Just a college girl who loves to craft and create. Hoping to share some tips, tricks, and inspiration.
