For a lot of people, college means living away from home- and this can be pretty tough whether your 2 or 20 hours away. To ease the transition, it is always helpful to have a reminder of home and a way to connect with friends and family.
So one of my best friends and I made this set of grad gifts to give to our two closest friends last year. I recently found the pictures on my phone and thought it would make a perfect addition to my Grad Gifts series!
Take a look below to see what we included!
Every freshman heading off to college needs a survival kit and a lot of people agree. Just check Pinterest- the examples are endless.
Well, I decided to take this trend and make it my own. Not only did I craft a few pieces, I also included some ~weird items and added gift tags to them. It's the perfect way to personalize (and tease your graduating friend)!
See below for a complete list of what I included and the tags I labelled them with!
Unlike all the other posts in this series, this one is a little different.
I'm sharing this for those who have friends going back to school after they've graduated. And no, I'm not talking about high school seniors. I'm referring to the college graduates who will be attending a professional school this fall.
This particular package is for a friend of mine who is starting medical school in 2 weeks. I'm sending this to her as a send-off on her first day! Find out what I put inside below :)
With summer officially in full swing that could only mean one thing- graduations (and grad parties)! And like me, I know that there are many college students who have high school friends graduating. So I'll be sharing some grad gift ideas in this new mini-series.
I hope that these posts will inspire you to create something personal and unique that you're graduating friend will appreciate (while making sure that you don't spend a pretty penny).
Let's get started!
This Friday, I thought it would be a good idea to make some Father's Day cards with the girls that I babysit.
This was such a fun, simple project that didn't break bank. And because I had a bunch of scrapbooking materials that I've acquired over the years, it was basically free!
I'm really happy with what I came up with considering most of my scrapbooking paper is (unsurprisingly) very girly so I just had to share. And of course, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to make a pun!
